"Avenue Bowling Club accused of trapping foxes"

I would like to ask why photographs have been appearing on social media of foxes in traps that have allegedly been placed by Avenue Bowling Club on their ground. Is there any truth in this allegation? If it is true, Why has this been taking place, and what happens to the foxes after they have been trapped? An answer would be appreciated..
