"Miss ? Bourke!"

A review of Eburne Primary School by Jill Hastings - now Thomas written on Monday 14th of September 2020

I started school here in 1950. My teacher was the lovely Miss Guest.

My Mother Doris Quail who lived in Shilton Lane also attended this school, and remembered Miss Bourke very well, does anyone else remember her?When being served with soup one lunchtime by either Mr. Jones or Mr. Bowness they accidentally spilled it all in my lap! I was taken to the school house where the Headmaster lived on site to be cleaned up.

I moved to Courthouse Green School when it opened.
