A review of Allesley Garage by Bob adams written on Tuesday 14th of June 2011
I recently took my daughters Tigra to this garage it had a really bad noise on the engine and wanted a service, spoke to Richard who assured me that the noise was nothing to worry about so i told them to service it, charged me £72.98 to change the plug leads and the total bill was for £286.00 when i collected it i did ask again about the noise but again was told its ok they all sound like that, took this car to Forum auto,s who promptly diagnosed the water pump had gone and would need a new cambelt,i did ask for a quote at Allesley garage for this work as i suspected this was the fault and got quoted over £300, afer Forum fitted the new one i was shown the old pump it had collapsed and shredded the cambelt and i was charged £200 to fix, Allesley garage really didnt have a clue all they wanted to do was the easy service work and then overcharge for it!!
