"Memorial park in 1980's"

I went to the memorial park to take our dog for a walk, at that time the dog chased a swift but could not get close to it, the swift turned sharply than the dog did, but could not reach it. When I was there some time ago there where cages of different types of birds, from peacocks to smaller types of birds. I think it has changed a little by now..
