"Just a tick box"

I have had the unpleasant experience of having to sign on. The job centre have no means of supporting my application to find appropriate employment, but expect me to attend a pointless "job search" which I could do at home. I have a significant level of education, skill and diverse experience. I am PC literate, have several CV's and cover letters. Every unemployed person is unemployed for a variety of reasons, with all of us Holding a diverse range of educational level, work ethos and abilities within the work force, .So why are we all put in the same bracket as though we are all simpletons with no ambition,intelligence, common sense or initiative? Surely it makes financial sense for the government to implement a service that takes into consideration the diverse and individual working needs of each person. It makes no logic for someone who like me is proactive in searching for work and fully competent in what they need to achieve. I do not want to be told I have to go to a job fair that I know will not cater for my working needs. Nor do I want to feel I have to attend a job search in the centre, when I have a perfectly good lap top at home with internet. I have often felt more qualified than the civil servants who are there to support me, as so often they have no answers to guide me. It truly is a joke on their part and a mixture of amusement and frustration for me. I am not some sort of highly skilled scientist or space ship engineer, I simply have a degree with a lot of experience in similar fields. Is it too much to ask for the right support? . Clearly it is

I supply my email in the hope if a justified response, however from experience suggestions and promises are broken with gaps of silence. I am a person, not a tick box or statistic, and I would like to be tested as such. Is that also too much to ask ?.
