West Orchards Shopping Centre

The West Orchard Shopping Centre on Smithford Way has a variety of shops selling all kinds of products such as designer clothing and accessories, shoes, computer games, books, confectionery and perfume.

Lower Precinct Shopping Centre

The Lower Precinct Shopping Centre has a variety of retailers, cafés and restaurants all under one roof. It is easily accessible by bus, train or car and has a 750 space car park. Shops include Carphone Warehouse, Clarks Shoes, Dorothy Perkins, H&M, H Samuel, Lush, Next and Two Seasons.

Broadgate & Cathedral Lanes

Broadgate has been at the very heart of Coventry for centuries and used to be a beautiful garden island before the area was redeveloped. In its midst stands the Lady Godiva statue by Sir William Reid Dick, a gift from Coventrian WH Bassett-Green. Near by, the famous Broadgate clock shows an animated Lady Godiva and Peeping Tom making an appearance every hour on the hour. Shops in Broadgate and the Cathedral Lanes Shopping Centre include GAME, Marks and Spencers, Primark, River Island, Wallis, Waterstones and Wilkinson's.

Coventry Market

Coventry Market on Queen Victoria Road has over 170 stalls offering an outstanding range of items and great value prices, all under an unusual circular roof.

Shopping Areas

The High Street houses Coventry's main concentration of financial companies including banks and building societies.

Greyfriars Walk to the South of Coventry offer a range of independently run shops such as jewellery shops, toy shops, gadget shops, clothing shops, florists etc. Greyfriars Walk comprises Market Square, City Arcade, Bull Yard and Shelton Square. Bull Yard is home to a variety of restaurants and cafes.

Smithford Way, from which the West Orchard Shopping Centre can be accessed, is a pedestrianised shopping areas and is home to Coventry's central library. It has a variety of national chains and independent retailers. Adjoining Corporation Street has more shops and houses Coventry's Belgrade Theatre.

The Burges has a variety of fast food outlets, cafes and pubs.

Spon Street is a picturesque medieval street with a variety of independent niche shops and several hair dressers.

IKEA Coventry

Coventry's massive IKEA store on Croft Road sells a range of home furnishing products displayed in over 50 fully furnished rooms and 3 home layouts. The store is family-friendly with a supervised children's play area, a Children's IKEA department and other play areas throughout the store. Other family friendly conveniences include baby care rooms, children's meals, and a special section for nursing mothers in the in-store restaurant.
